Stefan Deutsch has been devoted to the study of thriving, enriching relationships, healing therapies and mental health for over 35 years. His undergraduate studies were in Astrophysics and Philosophy, and graduate studies in Psychology and Human Development. Working with the latest in brain research, along with Gestalt, CBT, Neuro-linguistic Programming and positive psychology, he has developed a groundbreaking theory of love, and its application to relationships, psychotherapy, couples counseling, parenting and personal development.
His groundbreaking work with loving unconditionally has been validated by his collaboration with Dr. Ivel de Freitas, MD at an IRB approved clinical trial at Danbury Hospital, CT – training doctors and nurses how to prevent burn-out through applying self-love to self=care. Fredrickson research at the University of North Carolina and published in Love 2.0, uses Deutsch’s theory, that ‘Love is essential Nourishment, like air, food, and water,” as its conclusion.
Deutsch’s book Love Decoded is especially powerful for mental health, personal development, keeping marriages healthy, as well as healing marriages and improving parent-child relationships. Mr. Deutsch has received training in a number of modalities including Gestalt Therapy, Imago Couples Dialogue, Humanistic Psychology, etc. His company, Global Human Development Inc., is an outgrowth of The Human Development Company, which he co-founded.
